FEATURES OF PERFORMING STILL LIFE DRAWING IN INTERIOR AS EDUCATIONAL TASK FOR MASTERING GRAPHIC REPRESENTATION OF OBJECTIVE WORLD IN ENVIRONMENT

The article briefly examines history of creation of still life and depiction of environment as elements of interior decoration in ancient times (using the example of frescoes in Pompeii), still life painting in Holland and Flanders. Analysis of educational and methodological literature on execution of still life as educational task for students of universities specializing in fine arts and design is conducted. Among educational tasks of educational component “Drawing” for students of “Design” specialty of Khmelnytskyi National University, drawing of still life in interior is highlighted as transitional stage from reflection of objective world in “chamber” space to its reproduction in deeper environment. The thematic direction of still life in interior is also considered on the examples of student works: large objects, furniture, household and work items, folk-ethnographic, items belonging to certain profession, “classical”, etc. Similar and different features between the staging of “regular” still life and still life in the interior are identified; two options for arrangement of still life in interior: frontal and angular. Separate stages of drawing still life in the interior are highlighted, from performing compositional sketch-search on a small format to working out drawing on A2 format, namely: arranging work and deciding on the scale of its elements on enlarged format, constructing linear perspective of the interior with still life elements and determining their relationship, resolving the tonal-spot character of the image, constructing space of the interior and still life using aerial perspective, and final generalization of the image with placement of accents using line and tone.
