FEATURES OF FURNITURE DESIGN IN THE STYLE OF SCANDINAVIAN MINIMALISM AND LOFT

The purpose of the article is to determine the role of furniture with curved elements in interior design; to investigate the factors taken into account when designing furniture design, to determine their functional purpose in order to better understand the practical use in interior design. Information-research and visual-analytical approaches were applied in combination with methods of comparative analysis regarding the use of furniture in the interior. The influence of furniture design with curved elements on the formation of interior space was analyzed. The functional purpose, design features and factors taken into account when designing furniture design in the style of Scandinavian minimalism and loft were determined. Furniture with curved curvilinear elements was proposed and it was proven that they are important components of living space in interior design. The role of furniture with curved elements in interior design was considered. It was established that functionality, service life, wear resistance, price, comfort, safety, materials, aesthetics and style are key factors taken into account when designing furniture design. The technological features of the manufacture of adhesive elements were investigated, it was established that the use of thin lamellas and the formation of curvature provides high strength of the structure. The classification of adhesives and methods of manufacturing bent elements was carried out. The constructive aspects of using the developed furniture design in various interior styles and materials for designing new creative structures were shown. The possibilities of using furniture in interior design were clarified, the features of their practical application in various modern styles were revealed. It was proved that the use of bent furniture in the loft style softens the industrial character, and in the Scandinavian style enhances the feeling of naturalness and lightness. The functional purpose of furniture in interior design and the features of their implementation in interior design during the design process were determined.
