INTERIOR DESIGN OF ART SPACES IN UKRAINE AS A FORM OF VISUALISATION OF NATIONAL CULTURAL IDENTITY

This article explores the issue of art space. It acts as a leading cultural and educational centre where creative personalities are formed. The authors pay particular attention to the integration of regional features into the interior design. It acts as a tool for preserving cultural heritage and raising the value standards of creative personalities. The specificity of the research topic lies in a comprehensive disclosure of the role and significance of art space in Ukraine, capable of ensuring the formation (creation) of a unique creative atmosphere. Scientific research is conducted taking into account regional characteristics, namely the art space located in the city of Dunayivtsi, Khmelnytskyi region. The attributes of the Podillia region play a key role in the formation of this interior. The authors also focus on its cultural and natural values: ceramics, embroidery, and textiles. The interior design of an art space is developed with the aim of creating a specific atmosphere in accordance with the requests and needs of visitors to the establishment, the nature of their activities, and to enrich their perception of the world. Cultural identity determines the style of an art space, shapes its interior and has a positive impact on visitors. The interior of the art space reflects traditional cultural elements, creating a unique atmosphere. The themes of the exhibitions presented in the art space will reflect the cultural heritage of the region and allow visitors to better understand and appreciate their national cultural heritage, establish connections and communication between visitors, and enrich their experience. The authors argue in the article that elements of national identity can evoke strong emotions associated with traditions and memories, making the experience more profound and meaningful. The paper examines the factors that influence the formation of art space using elements of national cultural identity.
