Abstract

The presence of a large quantity of victims of combat psychological trauma (CPT) in the Armed Forces of Ukraine requires increasing the efficiency of the entire rehabilitation process and maximum involvement of a diverse arsenal of means, including the use of non-invasive creative Art therapeutic forms and methods, including phototherapy and its types such as associative and reconstructive photography. The accessibility of this type of therapy is due to the fact that today almost every ordinary person, having various gadgets, can create, process, store and send photos, which provides a large-scale resource for phototherapeutic practice. The issue of rehabilitation has become particularly relevant since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Given the new challenges, both psychologists and military cultural experts are constantly searching for new adequate and creative rehabilitation methods. Psychological support for personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is an important component of ensuring the combat readiness of the troops and the formation of a healthy society, a significant part of which are veterans who have survived CPT. The vast majority of them do not have artistic experience and do not always welcome Art Therapy due to the fear of revealing weakness in this field, which is exacerbated by similar feelings due to physical and psychological injuries. It is for such cases that reconstructive photography is most suitable, creating a sense of security and control over the process. The aim of the article is to consider and analyze the Art Therapeutic experience of using, in the cultural provision of rehabilitation of participants in combat operations with CPT, photographing mannequins as objects of Art therapeutic associative and reconstructive photo sessions, as an additional creative means of increasing the efficiency of the rehabilitation process.
