EMOTIONAL DESIGN AS A MEANS OF IMPROVING USER EXPERIENCE IN DIGITAL PRODUCTS IN UKRAINE

The article explores the basics of emotional design and its importance for improving user experience in digital products in Ukraine. The relevance of the topic is due to the growing demand for aesthetically pleasing and functional solutions in the context of the digitalisation of the economy, as well as the need to adapt Ukrainian digital products to international standards. It has been established that emotional design is a comprehensive approach that encompasses interactivity, personalisation, aesthetics and cognitive convenience, providing a positive impact on user engagement and product loyalty.The purpose of the study is to analyse the problems of integrating emotional design into Ukrainian digital products, define its basic principles and mechanisms, and outline development prospects. The research methodology is based on the analysis of literary sources, the study of practical examples of emotional design in Ukraine and global trends in digital design.The study has identified the main problems of emotional design implementation, in particular, the low level of developers' awareness of its principles, limited resources, insufficient local user research, and a low level of aesthetic culture. It is determined that the use of interactive elements, adaptive design, personalisation and gamification improves the quality of digital products and forms an emotional connection with users.It is concluded that emotional design is a key component of the competitiveness of digital products that meets modern user expectations. It is recommended to increase the level of professional training of specialists in the field of digital design, invest in research on user behaviour and introduce modern technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality.Prospects for further research include the development of adaptive approaches to emotional design in various industries, the creation of localised methodologies for digital products, and the study of the impact of emotional design integration on the economic performance of Ukrainian IT companies.
